Biomecanica receives Medal of Victory from the Ministry of the State and Defence
Biomecanica received on May 12th, the Victory Medal, awarded by the Minister of Defense Nelson Jobim. The tribute took place at the World War II Memorial, in Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro.
At the time, Biomecanica received a diploma and a medal for the HAITI Mission, created for the victims of the earthquake that struck the country on January 12th, 2010, through donations of orthopedic products.
The company donated 14,000 items to Haiti during the months of February, March and April. Among the items: Plates, Screws and Fixators.

In addition to humanitarian missions like this one, promoted by Biomecanica, the Medal, established in 2004, intends to award military and civilians, besides police officers, firefighters and other institutions that contribute to the dissemination of the achievements of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force and Brazilian combatants, as well as those who participated in international conflicts for the country´s interests, integrated peacekeeping missions, provided relevant services or supported the Ministry of Defense in fulfilling their institutional missions.
